Members of the course Visual Training under the guidance of Professor Ben Nicholson of the Illinois Institute of Technology's College of Architecture are developing a series of cubes faced with a versatile modular pattern. The blocks can be configured in many different ways to produce striking fields and patterns that can be suprisingly new as well as fundamental and with ancient, global precedent.
